کاتاتونیا ( Katatonia) یک گروه موسیقی dark rock /doom metal است.
این گروه در سال ۱۹۹۱ توسط Jonas Renkse و Anders Nyström شکل گرفت. آلبومهای نخست این گروه همراه با آلبومهای نخست گروههایی نظیر مای داینگ براید،آناتما و پارادایز لاست، به عنوان پیشگامان سبک دث-دوم درنظر گرفته میشود.
