داستان این ترانه درباره مردیه که استاد بازی ورق (در اینجا پوکر) هست، اما توی بازی به دنبال چیزی الهی و فراتر از یک بازی میگرده. ورق های بازی در واقع از روی ورق های تاروت ساخته شده، پس باید یک ایده درباره خوندن سرنوشت در ورق ها وجود داشته باشه. اون درحالی که ورق دیگران رو پخش میکنه سرنوشت خودش رو در ورق ها جست و جو میکنه. اون انقدر درگیر بازی شده که تقریبا خالی از احساسات میشه ( کنایه ای به مفهوم بازی پوکر که در اون شخص باید چهره ای کاملا بی حس و بی حرکت داشته باشه)
