Andreas Christensen is at the heart of a struggle between his club Chelsea and Manchester City – who are ready to pounce, writes Alan Nixon in the Sunday People .
Classy Danish centre-half Christensen, 18, has been superb for the Under-21s and youth sides at Stamford Bridge.
He is itching to make a first-team breakthrough and that is causing a headache for Jose Mourinho with City keen to tempt him to Manchester.
A source close to Christensen said: “Andreas wants to be playing and stretching himself more. There is a problem coming and it is not about money – it is purely about his football career.”
