Sassuolo President Giorgio Squinzi says “it’s possible” Domenico Berardi will join Juventus but “it’s not done”.
The forward was co-owned by the Bianconeri and the Emilian side until last summer, when the Neroverdi acquired him outright.
However, the Turin giants retained a buyback clause, and while it has previously been suggested that it’s little more than a gentleman’s agreement, the Sassuolo patron hints it may be more binding.
“He could go to Juve, but it’s not done,” Squinzi explained to Il Giornale.
“Juventus have a right to buy of €25m with no expiration which they can exercise if other offers come in.
